Application Process

I would like an application but where do I proceed to get one?
You can print off our online application and bring it with you to your showing or accompany it with your check or money order. We also provide applications if you don’t have access to these pages. Please call our rental line at 608-780-4392. Further questions can be sent to lacrosserents@gmail.com

Once my application is turned in, what is my next step?
Once we receive your application, we will proceed to do all the usual background steps. We always appreciate honesty when it comes to filling out our forms, if you have anything you would like to explain to us or feel the need to explain to us, feel free to do so, either on the form itself or by sending us an e-mail. Please don’t forget to include your name and what apartment you are applying for.

Once my application is approved, what is my next step?
Once we approve your application and offer you the apartment, we require half of your security deposit down and a signed lease, which will reserve your apartment. This $500.00 is nonrefundable if you decide not to rent a unit. This money will go towards your security deposit and by your move in day we will expect remaining deposit paid as well as first month’s rent.

Pets

Are Pets allowed in the apartments?
We have some units that are pet friendly, and we have some units that are not. This decision is made by the property manager and we can help you to determine which units might work best for you. Our pet policy is as follows; we do not except dogs over 25lbs and are normally over 2 years, some exceptions can be made. We will not allow small newly born kittens and all cats must be spayed or neutered. Our pet fee is $50 a month. Please have papers ready to provide proof of updated records.  All litter boxes must be fully enclosed.

Utilities

When should I contact the utility companies?
All unities are the responsibility of the tenants. We recommend at least two weeks’ notice to make sure everything will be connected on time. We do provide this information to you at lease signing but you can also see it here:

Who do I contact with maintenance issues?
Please call Ted or Kim with any maintenance issues you might have, 608-780-4392, or e-mail us at lacrosserents@gmail.com. If your issue requires immediate attention do not hesitate, please call a professional.

Rental Insurance

Should I have rental insurance?
Absolutely! This could save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars and your premium is normally less than $15 a month.
